What us Putty?
PuTTY is an SSH and telnet client, developed originally by Simon Tatham for the Windows platform. PuTTY is open source software and can be install on Linux distributions and also in BSD platforms like FreeBSD.
So how to change text size in Putty?
First open Putty, Select the session you wish to change like “webleit” in our example, after click Load and go to Apperance:

Now click on the Change button under Font settings, you will se the following window:

Now from here you can select the Font, Font style and Size you wish to have. In our example we are going to use Lucida Console / Regular / 20 pixels:

Now go back in the Session menu , select the session you want to save this settings on and click save:

After opening the session you will be happy to find that the font and size have changed:
